Our Screening and Selection Process:
Pre-Interview Screening
Before the prospective candidate is called for an interview, their CV is screened by an experienced Recruitment Manager. The two main criteria we look at, in this and also subsequent stages, is their prior relevant work experience and English language proficiency.
Interview Procedures
We spend at least 1 hour interviewing prospective candidates. The purpose is two-fold:
- Firstly we ensure an accurate assesment of work history, aptitude for English, education & qualifications, and other relevant details.
- The second is to fully understand the requirements of the candidate, in terms of desired position, salary and locations.
If the potential candidate is successful, we then register them in our database, that is being continually expanded and updated.
Validation
We endeavour to validate the work experience, education and qualifications of the candidates as much as possible. Part of this is done in the interview, through shrewd questioning, and the rest is done via checks after the interview.
This is achieved by various checks such as [in Romania'] the official 'work-book' (an official record of employment history, including current), original certificates and reference checks.
As a matter of course, we check that the candidate does not have any criminal record and is in good health.
Selection
Upon a request for personnel, we formulate a short-list of suitable candidates by searching our database over multiple criteria. The list is then filtered by human screening, taking into account all other relevant factors.
We will then present to you the short list of CV's along with our additional comments, for you to select from. You can also telephone the candidates if you have any additional questions - which we can arrange. Finally, we will also send you a copy of all certificates and other validations on you request.
